SPIRIT OF ONE
“Man does not live by bread alone.” Who would not agree with that? But where do we find spiritual nourishment for our souls in a world in which the previous moral authorities have increasingly lost their legitimacy? What are the spiritual currents that we can still build on?
Spirit of One attempts to provide an answer. With music and poetry from a wide variety of cultures that have one thing in common: trust in the power of spirituality.
And we also approach our own culture through the art religion of Romanticism, with poems by Novalis and Eichendorff and the writings of Leibniz.
This year we are bringing “Spirit of One” to the Erlöserkirche Stuttgart and to the “Heilig-Geist-Kirche” Wiesbaden.
Also present are Cemil Qocgiri, known for his spiritual music, and soul singer Sonja Priehn.
