Wie Sie sehen können, sind unsere Musiker nach unserem Konzert in der Liederhalle immer noch sehr begeistert. Vielen Dank an unser Publikum, das uns auf diese Weise unterstützt hat! Zugegeben, es war ein Experiment, das Album “A Crescent Moon Illuminates the World” in einer so veränderten Form auf die Bühne zu bringen. Aber wir denken, der Erfolg gibt uns Recht. Die Vielfalt der Solisten an Gitarre, Morin Khuur, Pipa & Erhu war eine absolute Bereicherung für die Stücke und den ganzen Abend.
Nochmals vielen Dank an alle Beteiligten, nicht zuletzt an Nik Reiff, unseren fantastischen Tonmann! Wir sehen uns wieder!

For our big Asia concert, we will be presenting some of the world’s greatest hits, such as David Bowie’s ‘China Girl’.
The program also includes well-known titles such as ‘Mongolian Horse Race’, as well as Chinese, Korean and Central Asian folk songs specially arranged for our orchestra.
You can look forward to a popular and virtuoso overview of the musical diversity of this fascinating continent with the appropriate instruments and the symphonic splendour of our orchestra!

When we recorded the album at Bauer Studios for the Chinese audiophile label Rhymoi, we didn’t think about a live performance. But what can you do when you have such fantastic soloists? That’s how the idea of bringing ‘Ein Sichelmond erhellt die Welt’ to the stage came about.
Traditional folk songs from Korea to Kazakhstan are given a new acoustic guise by the arrangement for our orchestra.
When we were on tour with the new musical “China Girl” this year, another idea came up.
Let’s create a new version of David Bowie’s hit “China Girl”.
Our singer Debora Vilchez has written new Spanish lyrics and our musical director Adrian Werum has re-orchestrated the song.
